7.1 Perishable goods:
We are unable to accept returns of perishable goods.
7.2 Returning a gift:
We are happy to exchange faulty or defective products that have been sent as a gift. If a refund is required however, please note that refunds of the purchase price for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser. Refunds will only be provided for the cost of the product paid, postage cost is non refundable. With regards to special orders, wedding favors that are ordered especially for the customer, the whole order cannot be returned and refunded, however any damaged individual items can be returned and we will replace them.
7.3 Items lost in transit:
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
7.4 Refunds, replacement and exchanges:
Refunds, replacements or exchanges are usually processed within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) by JoaniesGifts. Any refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. With regards to special orders, wedding favors that are ordered especially for the customer, the whole order cannot be returned and refunded, however any damaged individual items can be returned and we will replace them.
Please note, in all instances JoaniesGifts shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
7.5 Complaints Procedure
JoaniesGifts takes its relationships with customers very seriously, and we expend a great deal of effort ensuring that we keep you happy. We aim to reply to emails within one working day of receipt, whether they're enquiries or, heaven forbid, complaints. All your feedback is appreciated.
7.6 Cancellation
Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund, apart from items personalised for you. Personalised products are bespoke and made for your specification, should you wish to cancel a personalised order whilst we will endeavour to effect your cancellation, an item may already be in the process of personalisation and cancellation may not be possible. If an item has already reached our despatch channels and it is too late to cancel, we ask that you return the item(s) to us within 14 days, unused and in its original packaging with all original documentation. A refund will be provided for the cost of the product but postage cost is non refundable. You will also be laible for the cost of returning the product. Refunds will be provided once we have received the products returned in the original state/packaging. Please note that this does not apply to special orders, bespoke items ordered in for the csutomer. With regards to special orders, wedding favors that are ordered especially for the customer, the whole order cannot be returned and refunded, however any damaged individual items can be returned and we will replace them.
8.Delivery Policy
What Happens if You're Out When Your Order is Delivered?
You have every opportunity to send your order to whatever address you choose. We cannot arrange a specific time for delivery - this is out of our hands. Should delivery be attempted when you are out, the post office or courier company will leave a card. You can then call them to re-arrange delivery, or go to the depot to collect the parcel yourself. Both couriers and the post office return parcels to us if you have not collected them (or if the address you used is not correct) within about a week (please check with your local depot for accurate return times). If you have not collected the parcel in time and you ask us to send your order out again, there will be a £5 admin and postage charge to cover the costs involved and we will send out your order again once the original parcel has arrived back. Should you wish a replacement order to be sent out faster, you will need to pay in full for a new order plus the £5 charge and you will then be refunded for the old order when it is received back into our warehouse.
Anywhere Else in the World
Shipping outside the UK is charged by weight. Please select from the appropriate European or Worldwide options (either in your basket or at the checkout) - the cost will automatically be calculated for you. This cost is an estimate and if your order is heavy or you live outside Europe we will need to get an exact quote from our international courier, which we will email to you as soon as possible. if you require the shipment to be tracked and sent by courier or fed ex - please email us for an estimation of costs. if you require the product to be sent by normal post we cannot provide you with a trackign number and we will not be responsible for the product if it is lost in transit.
9.Your Statutory Rights
Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Your rights are the same on the web as they are on the high street.
